FRAME FEST

A creative direction for a short-film festival identity.

Concept project

An independent creative concept for a fictional brand, not commissioned client work.

SEE THE STORY DIFFERENTLY. — Original burst-inspired graphic and typographic campaign composition for the fictional FRAME FEST brand

The hypothetical brief

Develop FRAME FEST, a fictional concept for a short-film festival identity. An event must establish its energy while making the essential details instantly legible. The assignment is to make the proposition distinctive across a campaign poster, a social composition, a motion storyboard and a contextual application.

Who it’s for

People choosing a show, exhibition or shared cultural experience.

The strategic idea

“SEE THE STORY DIFFERENTLY.” is the central creative thought. Use a repeatable graphic device to make the brand recognisable before the full message is read. Let rhythm, type and a signature visual create anticipation. Give the date, format and booking action a clear hierarchy.

The creative direction

An original burst-inspired graphic, assertive typography and a #FF1E1E colour field create the visual language for FRAME FEST. The four compositions change scale, pacing and framing while retaining the same signature.

This exploration demonstrates creative thinking and craft. It has not run as a live campaign, so no commercial results are claimed.
